For the past week, pet owners have submitted pictures of their pets to be the Face of Woofa-Roo Pet Fest 2015. And what amazing response we’ve had to this contest! Our readers sure do love their pets.
Now, from hundreds of entries, Woofa-Roo judges will select 32 finalists and the winner will be chosen by YOU, our readers!
Voting takes place right here on windsorstar.com, from Saturday, August 2 to Friday, August 8.
Here’s how it works…
The 32 finalists will be matched up against each other in brackets like the NCAA’s Final Four tournament and Star readers will continue voting until one pet is crowned the Face of Woofaroo.
The voting schedule is below:
Round 1 (32 pets): Saturday, August 2 – 6:01 a.m. to Sunday, August 3 – 5:00 p.m.
Round 2 (16 pets): Monday August 4 – 6:01 a.m. to Tuesday, August 5 – 3:00 p.m.
Round 3 (8 pets): Wednesday, August 6 – 6:01 a.m. to Wednesday, August 6 – 3:00 p.m.
Round 4 (4 pets): Thursday, August 7 – 6:01 a.m. to Thursday, August 7 – 3:00 p.m.
Round 5 (2 pets): Friday, August 8 – 6:01 a.m. to Friday, August 8 – 3:00 p.m.
The winner will be announced at Woofa-Roo Pet Fest on Saturday, August 9 at 2:30 p.m. The winner will be posted on windsorstar.com following the announcement.
